Don’t let “Summer” get in the way of getting what you want !

We normally see a dramatic drop in activity during summer. Website hits are down, we encounter more voicemail, calls and emails take longer to get replies.. the works.

Of course, some of this can be attributed to people taking a vacation. However, that isn’t the whole story. Actual vacations account for some of it.. but what is really happening is “mental” vacations. People seem to think that all business stops during July & August, so they stop the job hunt, waiting for September until ‘everyone gets back to work.’

Let me assure you that business never stops. Sure, it may be somewhat slower, but companies that need people, need people now. Take advantage of the fact that your competition for that dream job is probably taking a “vacation”.. and get going on your job search! You have a much better chance of standing out from the crowd when the crowd is much smaller.
